Gisele Bundchen Scoffs Off Pope’s Virginity Plea
It’s no secret that the world is more sexually liberated now than ever. Still there are those faithful few that wait til their wedding night to lose their virginity. But Gisele Bundchen is skeptical that Pope Benedict’s virginity plea made in Brazil last month would have any effect.
The super hot supermodel even went so far as to challenge Pope Benedict to “show me someone who’s a virgin,” on their wedding night. To add insult to injury, Gisele criticized the Catholic Church’s anti-abortion/anti-contraceptive stance, calling it outdated.
“The ban stems from a time when the women were virgins, the guys were virgins,” claims Bundchen. “Today, no one is a virgin when they get married,” she told the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper.
William Donohue, head of the New York-based Catholic League, dismissed Bundchen’s criticism. “The Pope doesn’t need to be lectured by a lightweight,” he said. “This is not earth-shaking news, that most people are not virgins when they get married. There’s no question a lot of Catholics break the rules.”
Nevertheless, Bundchen’s comments were detrimental to the Catholic Church, at least in her home country of Brazil. Just weeks after the Pope paid Brazil a visit, Gisele showed up at Rio Di Janeiro’s Fashion Week and bashed him.

Wasn’t Jessica Simpson a virgin on her wedding night? Wasn’t that only a few years ago? Not that she’s a stellar example, but there are PLENTY of virgins who are still waiting for marriage to fully enjoy sex as God intended.

You only have to look to see that there are many people who are waiting for marriage before losing their virginity, and many more who wish they’d waited.
Gisele’s beauty will fade in time, but the treasures of a marriage founded on two people having waited for each other is more beautiful than Gisele will ever be.

I want to know why the previous comments were so hostle to Gisele?
What she did was display remarkable courage standing up for her views, and not allow the misogynist clergy to intimidate her.
