Gisele Bundchen: Back to the Big Screen
She’s the world’s top earning supermodel. And Gisele Bundchen looks to be in the process of adding to her already impressive resume.
Spotted out to lunch with a gal pal at Boa in Santa Monica on Friday (April 18), the Brazilian beauty will reportedly be playing the female lead in the next installment of the hugely popular Austin Powers franchise.
“Bundchen, 27, has read the script and is set to meet with star Mike Myers, who also wrote the screenplay,” Entertainment Weekly sources revealed.
While a title for the upcoming Powers flick is yet to be named, Myers said that the film will be told from the perspective of Austin’s arch-nemesis Dr. Evil.
“There is a fully conceived idea for a fourth [movie] and I can just say that it’s from Dr Evil’s point of view, so if you balanced how much it was Austin with Dr. Evil, it’s more Dr. Evil than Austin,” the former SNL funnyman tells.
If she does indeed fill the role, it would be Miss Bundchen’s third movie - as she previously appeared in Taxi and had a small part in The Devil Wears Prada.
