Geri Halliwell’s Stalker Woes

There have been many stalker situations this year and another one has just been added to the list. Former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, made security much more strict after having a crazed stalker incident.

The singer has been followed by a person who hangs around outside her house and makes nuisances calls. The British newspaper The Sun says, “Geri has become increasingly concerned over recent months. This individual has been loitering around her home and almost continually and it’s really upsetting and scaring her.”

“The times they are there are throughout the day as well as night. “Her burglar alarm has gone off a number of times when she’s been out and she’s worried about her and Bluebell’safety. The phone was ringing at all hours of the day and night so she had to get a new number,” the report continues.

Halliwell is used to fans, but she feels as though this is something over the edge. The source added, “Geri is acutely aware that life in the public eye brings with it certain unwelcome elements. She has been in the spotlight for around 25 years so knows perfect well that some members of the public can get a little too devoted.”

The singer was part of a 90’s girl band that hit the top of the charts and had millions of fans from multiple age groups of men and woman. “When she was in the Spice Girls they were trailed night and day by obsessional fans. But this latest episode is a little more serious than that and she’s not prepared to take any risks with her daughter’s well being.”
