George Clooney Gives Obama His Support

Always politically involved, George Clooney has just announced that he will lend his support to US presidential candidate Barack Obama. Clooney feels so strongly that he has even offered to campaign for the Illinois senator.

A staunch Democrat, Clooney is excited by Obama’s “true rock star” presence and hopes that he will come out victorious during the 2008 presidential elections.

Clooney stated: “I’ve never been around anybody who walks into a room and everyone just stops and listens to him.”

Continuing his praise of Obama, the actor said: “He’s magnetic and charismatic in a way that we haven’t had for a long time. I would certainly go out and fundraise for him.”
