George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis Hit the Red Carpet

Stepping out for the Venice Film Festival festivities, George Clooney and new love, Elisabetta Canalis, were spotted on the red carpet earlier today (September 8) in Venice, Italy.

The “Burn After Reading” stud and his Italian lover attended the premiere of his upcoming film, “The Men Who Stare at Goats” which will be out in the US in November.

The day before, the hot new couple made a grand arrival at the annual film festival following a water taxi ride across the city’s lagoon, prompting Italian papers to gush over the pair as the next Brad and Angelina.

“The Men Who Stare at Goats” which also stars Ewan MacGregor, is a comedy about the CIA’s program for researching psychic powers.
