Freida Pinto: “Slumdog” Wins at the SAG Awards
She stars in the big hit movie of the awards show season up to date, and Freida Pinto was looking ever-the-starlet as she arrived at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening (January 25).
Held at the Shrine Auditorium, Freida happily posed for pictures and spoke with press before heading inside to prepare to start celebrating yet another awards show victory.
As for her nomination, Miss Pinto’s hit movie “Slumdog Millionaire” ended up taking home the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture category.
The Danny Boyle directed film beat out Brad Pitt’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” as well as “Doubt,” “Frost/Nixon,” and “Milk”.
