Fall Out Boy Tour Delayed

Those of you who bought tickets, or are considering doing so, for the forthcoming Fall Out Boy tour… there has been a change of plans. The band announced on Friday April 6, that they will postpone their upcoming tour of North America.

In a statement on the band’s website, bassist Pete Wentz said that the delay is due to “personal issues,” which have yet to be disclosed.

Wentz wrote: “Unfortunately, because of some personal issues we had to delay the tour a few weeks. We want to put on the best possible show we can and know that this extra couple of weeks will give us the time to put ourselves in the right place to put on the best show we can,” he continued.

“Again we apologize. Our fans really mean the world to us and I promise the wait will be well worth it,” said Wentz.

The band said that the shows from the earlier part of the tour will be rescheduled to the end, with all previous tickets being honored.

The revised dates are expected to be announced very soon.
