Fall 2004 Asian Tour Planned for Britney Spears?

It seems there have been five Chinese cities named as show locations for September - Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha, and possibly Shenyang in northeast China…

Britney Spears is planning to perform in five Chinese cities in late September as part of her Asian tour.

Her China tour organizer says the 22-year-old pop singer has agreed to stage five shows - in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha, and possibly Shenyang in northeast China.

The tour is scheduled to begin in Guangzhou on September 24th and conclude on October 1st.

Although the Chinese organiser refuses to reveal the financial details of the tour, he says Spears has made substantial compromises to make her visit to China.

Britney Spears will be one of the most high-profile western pop singer ever to visit China, following Mariah Carey’s tour to Shanghai last year. [via Xinhuanet]
