Eva Mendes’ Hot New PETA Campaign
Yes, all you drooling guys out there, it’s time for PETA to unveil their new ad campaign featuring a bare-skinned Eva Mendes.
The “Hitch” actress unveiled her ad “Fur? I’d rather go naked” on Robertson Boulevard yesterday. And she had a great sense of humor about the whole thing, jokingly smacking her picture’s bare butt.
She told press, “It’s very tasteful. It’s all in fun. It’s got a flirtatious, fun spirit about it. It’s not like come hither or anything like that.”
Reportedly, Mendes’ relationship with PETA began when she borrowed a fur coat from a friend to wear to a movie premiere. The folks over at PETA sent her a scathing letter, and she’s loved them ever since. “I was so floored by what they said that I said, ‘I promise I will never do it again,’ ”
As for her newfound fame in activism, Eva said, “I’m not trying change people’s minds or tell them what I think is right. I just want people to think about it, question it. It’s about awareness.”
