Eva Mendes Hits the Shops of NYC

Following a spectacular evening at the Costume Institute Gala on Monday night, Eva Mendes was spotted partaking in a New York City shopping spree yesterday afternoon (May 6).

The 34-year-old recently rehabbed actress left her temporary digs at the Carlyle hotel wearing a casual outfit, but picked up a sexy black dress along her stops - wearing it back to her Upper East side hotel.

As for her career, Eva will soon be teaming up with Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley in the drug-trafficking drama “Queen of the South”.

According to IMDB, “The film is about a Mexican woman turned Spanish drug lord (Eva) out to avenge her boyfriend’s murder.”
