Eva Mendes’ Debut; “Not So Hot”
You’ve seen her opposite Will Smith in Hitch and starring with Nicolas Cage Ghost Rider. But Eva Mendes wasn’t always such a noteworthy actress.
The Latina hottie is confessing that her first film, “Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror” wasn’t her best work. “If you want to experience some truly terrible acting on my part - basically a guide to what not to do on screen - I suggest you rush out and rent Children Of The Corn V right away,” she told press.
And Mendes requests forgiveness in advance for her first screen moment. “The scene where I find out my boyfriend killed himself? I beg you to remember it was my first time on camera ever, and everybody’s got to get their start somewhere.”
From humble acting beginnings, Mendes has made quite an impression on Hollywood. Maxim’s #54 hottie, Eva is about to show some serious skin in “We Own The Night” in her first on-screen sex scene with Joaquin Phoenix.
