Eva Longoria: “Where’s The Sexy Stuff?”

Most actresses hate being typecast. This is especially true of the women who end up playing “sexy” roles (i.e. Charlize Theron doing Monster to shed the label).

Going against this trend, Eva Longoria has revealed that she wants to carry on playing sexy roles for as long as possible.

The stunning actress, who plays Desperate Housewives’ naughty Gabrielle, stated that she had better cash in on her sex appeal… while she still can.

The star, who’s set to marry this July, said: “Probably 80 percent of the scripts I get are dramatic. I’ve had very few sexy offers, to the point that I’m getting annoyed and going ‘Hey! Where’s the sexy stuff?’”

Longoria continued: “I’m going with the sexy roles for a long as I can, because women have an expiration date in this business.’”

To her benefit, Eva believes that Desperate Housewives has done wonders for the slightly older actresses.

She added: “That expiration date is getting later and later, because of Desperate Housewives.”

Seeing that Ms. Longoria just topped a recent magazine poll of Hollywood’s hottest legs, she probably doesn’t have anything to worry about just yet!
