Eva Longoria Pregnancy Put On Hold

While Eva Longoria may have aspirations of a household full of little Parkers, it appears that the Texas native and her basketball player hubby will have to put any plans of a family on hold.

According to the Sun newspaper, Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry doesn’t want to have to change the plot due to a pregnant leading lady, forcing Eva and Tony to wait one or two seasons before working on a baby.

"Marc’s not kidding, because he maps the year out and really knows the story line. When Marcia (Cross who plays Bree) became pregnant it was unexpected, and it was hard for him to write around,” Longoria said.

Taking it all in stride, Eva added, “Tony and I are excited about starting a family, but because Marc has forbidden me to get pregnant this year, we’re gonna spend time as a married couple and build a solid foundation together before we bring our child into the world.”
