Eva Longoria: French Student

While Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia were enjoying a romantic dinner for two, Eva Longoria was all by her lonesome at her restaurant Beso.

The “Desperate Housewives” star’s stag status was due to the fact that her hubby Tony Parker was in New Orleans prepping up for tonight’s game 2 of the Spurs vs. Hornets series.

And she looked as beautiful as ever in a shimmery pink silk knee-length dress with a pair of peep-toe heels and her hair pulled back.

Recently, Eva told press that she has made it her goal to be fluent in French (Parker’s native language) by the end of the year. “I’ve sworn to myself that I’m going to be able to speak passable French this year. I should be working on it right now, to tell you the truth, but I’m having fun being relaxed and laid-back and I don’t want to get stressed out.”

Trying not to sound too much like a procrastinator, she continued, “But at some point this year, I’m going to take serious French lessons because I want to be able to understand Tony when he speaks French with his family and friends. Even though Tony always serves as a translator for me, I feel a bit isolated from his family and I want to overcome that and feel closer to them by learning the language.”
