Emmy Rossum Gets Charitable

When it comes to doing her part for a good cause, Emmy Rossum is all about helping out. And she added a little extra charm to the 14th Annual Practical Magic Ball in New York City last night.

The “Day After Tomorrow” babe was spotted mingling with the guests at the gussied-up Cipriani on 42nd. The event itself expected to raise over $1 million for the charity by way of private donations, as well as a silent auction.

Rossum mixed elegance and sex appeal in an antique-looking porcelain sleeveless dress with embroidery accents and a frilly bottom, paired with high heeled sandals.

Perhaps one of Emmy’s highlights of the night was when she got to meet Top Chef Eric Ripert, who invited her to dine at Le Bernardin.
