Eminem and Mariah Carey Keep Feud Alive
We all remember back in high school when so-and-so hooked up with so-and-so. Then later they bragged to the whole school about it, while embarrassment and ridicule ensued. Well, this time it’s Eminem and Mariah Carey, and she’s telling him to shut up.
Mariah is tired of Eminem making references to an alleged affair the pair had back in 2001. But apparently Eminem isn’t listening. Em’s forthcoming album has more than a hint about his tryst with the R&B singer.
"There is more than one track that goes into really specific, intimate detail about what went on between Em and Mariah,” a record label rep told press.
There are even voicemail messages that are said to be from Mariah pleading with Eminem, “Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me?” Carey claims they’re not from her.
Mariah is understandably upset. “I’m curious as to why he’s so obsessed with me. I never got an apology letter, by the way. ... Then, again, I wasn’t exactly searching my mailbox for it. Something is clearly askew with him. I’m curious as to why he’s so obsessed with me.”
