Ellen Pompeo: It’s Too Big!
Whoever said “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” didn’t send a memo to Ellen Pompeo. The Grey’s Anatomy babe has set about complaining that her new engagement ring is simply too big.
Pompeo’s fiancée, record producer Chris Ivery, apparently spent quite a chunk of change on her rock, and according to the actress, it’s a bit too much.
She told press, “All the magazines care about its size. I think, ‘Oh it’s absolute rubbish and I’d like to throw the ring in the sewer.” Not what you want to hear if you’re the guy who gave it to her.
She continued, “He got it in Beverly Hills and spent his entire life savings, which I could kill him for. I was very mad about it. Some days I really love it, and some days I just want to sell it and give the money to charity.”
