Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery: Lakers Date

While most of Hollywood was over at the Beverly Hilton for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery had a different idea of how to spend their Sunday evening.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” babe and her handsome hubby were spotted over at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, enjoying a date night at the Los Angeles Lakers game.

Taking full advantage of their celebrity status, Ellen and Chris hunkered down in some courtside seats to take in all the action, captivated by the game’s non-stop action.

And in the end, the Lakers defeated the Miami Heat, 108-105, proving that it never hurts to have a celebrity cheering section.
