Elizabeth Hurley Raises Awareness for Breast Cancer
In the latest installment of celebrities against cancer, Elizabeth Hurley was looking fine at the Pink Ribbon Ball in Amsterdam, Netherlands last night (September 29).
The “Austin Powers” babe hammed it up for the paparazzi, sporting a gorgeous pink beaded halter-style dress with silver strappy heels as she made her way into the Concertgebouw.
And it sounds like Hurley is going the extra mile for breast cancer awareness, teaming up with Estee Lauder to front a new online campaign targeted at a younger age demographic.
She told press, “Every year younger and younger women are being diagnosed with breast cancer. We want to reach these women and all women with the message of early detection because if a breast cancer is detected early, it’s 98 per cent curable. These new online partnerships provide a platform with the goal of inspiring new supporters to relay the message in new and unique ways.”
