Elisha Cuthbert: Hot on the “24” Set

Narrowly avoiding an open flame, Elisha Cuthbert was spotted on the set of her hit television show “24” yesterday afternoon (December 10).

The “Girl Next Door” hottie was busy filming a scene in which her character, Kim Bauer, escapes from a car accident where her arm ends up catching on fire.

And though she broke up with hockey stud Sean Avery awhile back, it sounds like he’s not over it yet.  The Dallas Stars player was suspended for six games after making lewd comments about her during a pre-game interview.

Avery referred to Cuthbert as “my sloppy seconds” and poked fun at her current beau, NHL star Dion Phaneuf, prompting commissioner Gary Bettman to suspend him.  Bettman told press, “Playing in the National Hockey League is a privilege, requiring a high standard of personal behavior. Mr. Avery forfeits that privilege for six games.”

He continued, “Mr. Avery has expressed remorse for his recent comments and has sought a professional anger management evaluation. I will require that he follow through with that process as a condition of his returning to the ice, and that he complies with any and all recommendations.”
