Elisabeth Hasselbeck Faces Lawsuit

She’s never afraid to stir up some drama, and now Elisabeth Hasselbeck is dealing with some drama of her own.

“The View” co-host is being sued by an author who claims Hasselbeck stole her book idea and infringed on her copyrights by publishing a book on Celiac Disease called “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide” last month.

The 32-year-old host who is pregnant with her third child - recently announced she suffers from Celiac Disease, which damages the small intestine and interferes with nutrient absorption.

Publicists for ABC and Elisabeth’s publisher, Hachette Book Group, could not be reached for comment at the moment.
