DNA Proves Eddie Murphy’s Paternity

Melanie Brown must be relieved.  She’s been telling press that Eddie Murphy is the father of her daughter, and now she has the test results to prove it.

“It is such a relief that this is finally over. Mel has known all along that Eddie is the father and can’t believe it has taken a paternity test to prove it,” said a source close to Brown.

Angel Iris Murphy Brown was born this past April to the former Scary Spice, during which time she had been dating Eddie.  So it was a huge surprise to her when the Shrek star publicly doubted that he was the baby daddy.

But Murphy’s camp isn’t talking.  The only comment they’ve released is, “We don’t comment on Eddie’s personal life.” And what a personal life it is.

Murphy has brought his number of offspring to 8.  He has five children with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell, and two other children from other relationships.  How’s that for a child support policy?

The loser in this whole thing?  Iris.  Despite what DNA tests say, she won’t have a real daddy until Eddie decides to take responsibility and raise his new daughter.
