Dita Von Teese: Underwear Entrepreneur

She’s done everything from date Marilyn Manson to perform a striptease in a giant martini glass. And now Dita Von Teese is marketing her very own bra.

That’s right, the burlesque queen was in London, England earlier today (September 23) to unveil her new “Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese” collection at the Covent Garden Piazza.

She looked quite excited about the whole ordeal as she posed with a giant black bra, sporting a ballerina-style peach-colored dress with matching platform peep-toe heels.

And Dita recently told press her latest venture is a logical step, given her childhood. “A lot of the movies I watched were about showgirls and they’d be backstage getting dressed, tightening their corsets and I became fascinated by lingerie as a result. I began to steal stuff out of my mother’s underwear drawer and I was obsessed with the idea of ‘When do I become a woman and get to wear this stuff’?”
