Diddy Sets the Record Straight

While he’s been one of the most successful hip-hop artists/producers/franchisers in the history of the genre, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has also had his fair share of downfalls.

Most recently, the Sean John proprietor had a bit of a scuffle at a New York City nightclub.  But he’s telling it like it is, rather than allowing the media to have their way with it.

Diddy told press, “It was something that was just totally overblown ... I don’t fight over girls!  I got into an argument, I am a human being. I am going to get into an argument.  I am making no denial about that, but I did not punch anybody.”

Combs said that the police were involved, briefly.  “They looked into it,” he said. “There are so many other things going on in the city.”

But he’s not letting the negative press keep him down.  “I’m staying focused on being a role model and you know, being somebody that all my grandmas and aunties out there can be proud of and tell their kids to look up to you, know what I’m saying,” he added. “I mean it is a part of celebrity ... but it just wasn’t true.”
