Demi Moore Talks Aging

When it comes to a conventional family life, Demi Moore couldn’t be further from the norm. But somewhere in the midst of keeping up with her much-younger (she’s 45, he’s 30) husband Ashton Kutcher and her three daughters, somehow the “G.I. Jane” actress makes it work.

In the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Moore opens up about life as an actress over 40 in an industry that puts so much emphasis on the beauty of youth.

She says, “Look, I would be lying if I said I don’t have moments of panic when I look in the mirror and see things creeping in that weren’t there before. But now I stop, and instead of focusing on my flaws, I think about all that I have in my life.”

And her readjusted perspective has made all the difference. “I have a wonderful marriage, I have three wonderful daughters, I have an incredible extended family, and I have loving, wonderful friends. When I look back in the mirror, the reflection I see isn’t so bad, because I’m seeing the beauty of my whole being and my whole life.”
