Monday, January 19, 2009 Demi Lovato Arrives for Inauguration Festivities
Not one to be left out, Demi Lovato was spotted arriving in Washington DC last night (January 18), a couple days ahead of the big Barack Obama Inauguration. The Disney Darling looked excited as she deplaned, sporting oversized sunglasses along with a black leather jacket, grey dress, black stockings, and black leather boots as she made her way to her car. And she’s not just in town as a spectator - Demi is slated to give a performance at the concert for military families (along with the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Bow Wow) tonight (January 19th) as part of the Inaugural festivities. When asked about her feelings regarding Obama’s installation into office, Miss Lovato commented, “Well, our economic system is in a crisis right now. I definitely hope that that will change. Also ... I hope that the war resolves. Whether we win or lose or whatever, it doesn’t matter. I hope that it just ends. So you know, I think that Barack Obama will be able to help us.” Of tonight’s concert, she gushed, “That will be the coolest thing, if Obama was watching. I think his family will be there. It would be even cooler if they were all there. But definitely, it’s an honor that they even know who I am. It’s awesome.” Enjoy the pictures of Demi Lovato arriving to Washington DC (January 18).
