David Beckham’s Birthday Payback
Not too long ago, David Beckham surprised his wife, Victoria Beckham, with an extravagant birthday full of shopping, dinner and a hotel stay in Paris. The former Spice Girl repaid the favor, whisking her soccer star husband to London for a $40,000 shopping spree and an extravagant birthday dinner on Wednesday night.
Victoria took her hubby by surprise, splashing out $32,000 on a private jet to fly him from Madrid to the capital city to celebrate his 32nd birthday in style.
The two were first spotted in the tailoring district Savile Row, where she treated him to a $28,000 watch, a $9,000 suit, and a pair of $3,800 handmade shoes, along with some other odds and ends, reports Life Style.
Posh later took Becks, who’s recently been sporting a new peroxide blonde hairdo, to dinner at the exclusive Mayfair restaurant Cipriani - where the couple were joined by friends and family.
According to Life Style reports, “Victoria’s former bandmates Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton, ‘Little Britain’ comic David Walliams and David’s mother Sandra - who arrived carrying gifts - were among the guests.”
Meanwhile, one of Vic’s friends told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “He was really touched that she spent so much time arranging everything and he loved every minute.”
