Daniel Radcliffe’s Broadway Possibility

If you’re tired of seeing British actor Daniel Radcliffe in his trademark round glasses and Hogwart’s uniform, you may be in luck.  According to recent reports, he may be headed for the States as early as next year for a turn on Broadway.

The 18-year-old hopes to reclaim the “Equus” glory he received on the UK stage and he’s very ambitious about it.  New York City’s Broadway theater district is one of the top stage accomplishments for actors.

He told press, “I would be very nervous because I think that (U.S. audiences are) even more discerning than in London.” And though he received rave reviews in London, Daniel says he never wants to rest on his laurels.

“I know we have a good show. It was a good show when we did it in London, and hopefully, if we do it again it will still be that good. It has to be better.” And of course, there would be plenty of swooning girls just waiting for Radcliffe to get into his birthday suit.  The show calls for Daniel’s character to strip down, and he’s been more than willing to sacrifice for the part.
