Daniel Radcliffe: Harry Puffer
While many smokers all over the world resolve to quit each year as a New Year’s resolution, Daniel Radcliffe certainly isn’t one of them.
The “Harry Potter” stud (who reportedly smokes a pack a day) was spotted having a smoke as he chatted with his ex-girlfriend Laura O’Toole while braving the chilly New York City weather yesterday (January 6).
As for his boyish good looks, Daniel recently revealed that he prefers to maintain some facial hair to prevent him from looking too young.
The 19-year-old actor told press, “Without it, I get asked for ID all the time. Yet, I get my kit off every night.” He also said that he loves it when his “Harry Potter” fans visit the theater to see him in “Equus.”
“It’s a whole new set of challenges. The Harry Potter thing is useful because there will be a lot of people who’ve never been to the theater before. And if we can [bring them to the theater], that’s amazing.”

Oh what happened to you? ... oh God, first you get naked, then you grow a beard and now you smoke??

daniel’ naked not important because he make his job.but smoke...daniel we love you,you must carefull with your healthy

it’s not too much of a big deal. he’s 20 now and most of the stuff like this are legal in Europe (around 16-18ish). i’d say it’s way safer than drunk driving or taking dangerous drugs (meth, cocaine). he just needs to worry about his health in the long term. It wasn’t his choice originally to start smoking anyways, because the play needed smoking in some of its scenes… no such thing as a fake cigarette pplz. -_- i made this too long because I am soooo bored

It’s not that important that it’s legal, poppyfields, he could’ve started at 12 if he wanted, I was just shocked that he DID start smoking! He… (and actually most of the Harry Potter cast) was always so… calm, shy and sensible… I wouldn’t have expected him to develop such bad habits.
The part with him getting naked was kind of understandable afterwards (even if it was shocking at first :O ). He wanted so much to get rid of the “Harry Potter” image that he chose the most drastic way of doing it…
Even if he had to smoke in the play, that doesn’t mean he had to develop this into a habbit. It was his choice.

Good for him for being honest and keeping it real. If he wants to smoke, that’s his business. He’s still a great actor and a good person.
