Damon, Garner and Affleck Get Silly For The Environment

You saw them teaming up in Good Will Hunting, but now Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are getting together for another cause… Mother Earth.

Matt Damon has a lot going on lately.  He’s coming out with his new film “The Bourne Ultimatum” and a new environmentally friendly spot on YouTube called “Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel.”

It’s all part of a new initiative to get US Congress to legislate higher fuel efficiency standards for auto makers, and more ethanol-based flex fuel stations across America.

Damon drives home the point in the video with his sentiments, “Come on, Congress.  Come on, big oil. Mandate cleaner cars and cleaner fuel. Flex fuel. A little bit of corn and a pinch of can-do attitude is all it takes. And kids love it too. Yippee!”

Affleck does his part by dressing up as an ear of corn and trash talking the government.  He vows to “bring down big oil” while looking absurd in his getup, while his wife, Jennifer Garner, lends her support as well.
