Cristiano Ronaldo Introduced to Real Madrid Fans
Greeting his new fan base, Cristiano Ronaldo was introduces as number 9 for the Real Madrid soccer team at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain on Monday (July 6).
After taking a medical test earlier in the day, the reigning league MVP was welcomed by 40,000 fans as he spoke at the podium and showed off his skills.
Talking about the move, Ronaldo said, “I expect a different league of course. I played six years in the Premier League and its very difficult. It’s more fast and players are stronger. It’s very competitive here as well. It will be interesting. I look forward to enjoying La Liga.”
Continuing on, the Portugal winger adds, “I think I’m ready for this challenge. I eat good. I sleep good. I drink good. I think I’m ready for this league.”
