Courteney Cox’s Disney Family Outing
With all the glitz and glam of Hollywood, it’s good to see celebrities putting their families first. And Courteney Cox and David Arquette spent a little time with their loved ones during a trip to Disneyland yesterday.
The Cox-Arquettes converged on the Anaheim, California themepark, and enjoyed such attractions as the Dumbo planes, as well as the Peter Pan ride. With days like this, it’s no wonder Courteney and David had such a strong marriage.
Married since 1999, they’ve learned the dos and don’ts of being married. The “Friends” actress told press, “It was a matter of learning to live together and understand each other better. We’re both intense and passionate people and we’re both in a very chaotic and creative business with a lot of pressure to deal with. We figured out that it was a total waste of time to get angry with each other over stupid little issues.”
Rather than getting angry, Courteney says they choose their battles very carefully. “Now we don’t brood over things. We try to solve things in a very open and caring way rather than getting angry. Basically we realized that we love each other so much that it didn’t make any sense to let ourselves and our marriage get bogged down with nonsense. Now we just look at the bigger picture and things are much smoother.”
