CMA Awards Nominations Announced

It’s that time of the year again- time for the Country Music Association to hand out awards to the biggest and brightest stars in the industry.

And this year Brad Paisley has garnered the most CMA nods- he’ll be competing in a total of six different categories at this year’s awards show.

Trailing behind him with four nods each are Keith Urban, George Strait, Zac Brown Band, Taylor Swift, and Jamey Johnson.

And in a surprise showing, former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker received two nominations- Best New Artist and Vocalist of the Year.  The 43rd Annual CMA Awards will be held on November 11th and broadcast live.
