Christina Applegate Battles Breast Cancer
Former “Married With Children” actress Christina Applegate is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, a spokesperson for the star announced to press.
Fortunately, the 36-year-old is expected to make a full recovery after being diagnosed with cancer during a regular MRI scan, representative Ame Van Iden confirmed in a statement released on Saturday night (August 2).
The full statement reads: “Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time.”
Meanwhile, Applegate is still believed to be appearing at the Emmy Awards, as she was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in hit TV show Samantha Who?
