Christina Aguilera Rocks Abu Dhabi
Not even becoming a new mom can stop Christina Aguilera from performing at her best, as the “Dirrty” singer was joined by her eight talented dancers and a group of vocalists at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi for a Friday night concert (October 24).
“It was fantastic; a brilliant, exciting and very energetic performance,” one concertgoer told press. “She was original, full of life, and her voice is amazing.”
As for the highlights, Aguilera hit a crowd favorite while singing her 2002 hit song, “Beautiful,” where she incorporated a black hat. Meanwhile, for the tune “Dirrty” she geared up in a leopard leotard and black high heel boots.
“It was nice, especially because it’s not the kind of concerts we thought we could find here in Abu Dhabi,” another attendee raved. “It’s way too sexy for Abu Dhabi.”
The only complaints were about the length of Aguilera’s gig and the abrupt end which featured no encore, with a fan from the UK telling, “It’s partly the audience’s fault, because nobody shouted for more, and people left quickly.”
Another concertgoer, Ammar, a Jordian, stated he didn’t really enjoy it since, “she sang for an hour-and-a-half only.”

Christina Aguilera in Abu Dhabi was a shocking concert. The show was incredibly poor with disastrous costumes and lack of performance. It felt like she couldnt be bothered being there and cut the show in half! Why do we accept such low standards in the UAE when it comes to international pop stars performing here? everyone says oh she was great only because its so rare we see people like her in the UAE. The standard of concert would not be accepted in the UK or USA; she would be booed off stage. The fact she showed sexy videos of herself on the screens prooved she did zero research into her audience! (ie. the Sheikhs and princes who attended and left when the video was shown)if she put as much effort into the show as she did the video we might have experienced a better show. I am a Fan no longer! Someone should warn Kylie before she makes the same mistake!!
