Christie Brinkley Gets Full Child Custody
After a long night of intense negotiation, Christie Brinkley and her adulterous ex-hubby Peter Cook have finally reached an agreement in regards to the custody of their two children.
The nasty divorce trial between the parted pair has been going on for a little over a week now, and a settlement was finally reached at 6:15 am on Thursday (July 10).
In the agreement, Brinkley agreed to pay Cook $2.1 million dollars in return for full custody of both children (Jack, 13 and Sailor, 10). It was also agreed upon that Christie gets to keep all of the real estate.
According to press reports, Brinkley and Cook were both seen in the same Long Island hotel on Wednesday night as lawyers for the two parties worked adamantly to put the finishing touches on the deal that they had been negotiating. A source confirmed that the ex-couple did, in fact, speak to each other during the negotiation but it was added that they “didn’t communicate well.”
After the trial ended earlier today, onlookers tell that a distressed Brinkley was seen sobbing while hugging two of her girlfriends.
