Christian Bale Puts Family First

A family man first, Christian Bale was spotted spending the day with his wife, Sibi Blazic, and daughter, Emmaline, in Los Angeles on Saturday (July 19).

The 34-year-old Batman star headed out early in the morning, first taking his 2-year-old little girl to gymnastics class. After heading home and packing, the happy family made their way over to LAX airport to catch a departing flight.

It’s assumed that Bale was jetting off for press duties for his new movie “The Dark Knight,” which raked in $155.34 million in its first weekend - breaking the box office opening weekend record previously held by Spider-Man 3.

As for his wife, Christian recently spoke to press about how Sibi has helped him keep a clean-living attitude amid his Hollywood success, saying: “It could have easily gone so wrong for me in Hollywood. The moment you have success, people tell you that you’ve made the big time.”

“I’d been living a rootless life, working on films - without a home to go to. Then I met Sibi on a beach in California and we got talking. Sibi has such a great attitude to life and understands how I like to approach acting and my private life. She’s my secret weapon,” he tells.
