Christian Bale: “Fighter” Frail

He’s known for his fierce dedication to whatever movie role he’s in, and yesterday (July 13) Christian Bale looked a bit gaunt while on the set of his new film.

The “Terminator Salvation” stud strolled around the Los Angeles set of “The Fighter” sporting a much skinnier frame and thinner hair as he took a break in between scenes.

In the movie, Christian plays welterweight boxer turned trainer turned drug addict Dickie Eklund, and from the looks of it, he’s depicting the drug-addicted portion of the character’s life.

Then again, it’s not really a surprise the Bale has once again altered his appearance for this role - he lost 63 pounds and got dangerously thin while filming “The Machinist” back in 2004.
