Christian Bale Beats Assault Charges
As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, back on July 21st Christian Bale was arrested on charges of assaulting his mother and sister in a London hotel. And today (August 14) it is being reported that those charges have been dropped.
According to England’s Crown Prosecution Service, there is to be no further action taken against the “Dark Knight” stud by police due to an insufficient amount of evidence.
The altercation was thought to have started the night before the big “Dark Knight” premiere in London, when Bale’s sister asked him for money and he refused, prompting her and his mother to hurl insults about Christian’s wife.
However, Mr. Bale has kept the whole thing very quiet, telling press, “It’s a deeply personal matter. I would ask you to respect my privacy in the matter.”
