Celebrity Baby Watch: Ethan Hawke

He already has two children with his ex-wife, “Kill Bill” star Uma Thurman.  And it’s just been announced that Ethan Hawke will become a father once again.

His babymamma is none other than Ryan Shawhughes, the former nanny to his children.  And both expectant mother and father are said to be tickled about the news.

Hawke’s rep, Mara Buxbaum, told press, “I can confirm and they are thrilled.  No further details will be made available.”

The “Reality Bites” stud has always been a fan of fatherhood.  Back in December of 2006 he revealed that being a dad is, “the greatest pleasure in my life. It’s the only role that, if I fail, I will consider my life a failure.”

And despite his falling out with ex-wife Thurman, Ethan says they’ve worked out a parenting system that seems to work.  “We live down the street from each other. If we lived down the street from each other in Minneapolis, I’d have to watch every car go in and out of the driveway. I’d know how late she stayed out.  [But this way] I don’t have to know any of that stuff.”
