Carrie Underwood’s Abrupt CMA Ending

While Taylor Swift had at least won her award already this time, people are wondering if Carrie Underwood tried to cut off Brad Paisley ‘s praise for the singer at the end of the CMA’s last night.

“How ‘bout that?” said co-host Brad Paisley after Swift accepted the night’s top honor, Entertainer of the Year. “Nineteen-years-old...Congratulations, Taylor. What a night. I can’t even imagine a better—”

“And how were we? We were awesome!” Underwood, who performed during the show and did 10 wardrobe changes but ended up losing to 19 year-old Swift for Female Vocalist of the Year, said cutting off Brad.

Then the show ended. Was Underwood trying to end the show, or was it something else?
