Carrie Underwood: Pretty In Purple at the CMT Awards

As celebrities from all over the entertainment industry descend on the 2008 CMT awards, everyone will be vying for the honor of best dressed.

And Carrie Underwood most certainly brought her A-game in the wardrobe department, sporting a colorful purple dress along with strappy silver heels and a matching silver wristband.

As most high-profile awards shows go, the red carpet arrivals are almost as notable as the actual award winners themselves.

One thing’s for sure… with all the action going on at Belmont University’s Curb Events Center, the rest of Nashville is likely to turn into a ghost town.
