Carrie Underwood Helps Announce ACM Nominations
The 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards nominations are in, as Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley announced the nominees during a Tuesday morning press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
Kenny Chesney led the way with 11 nominations, while those receiving two or more bids this year include: Paisley, Big & Rich, Emerson Drive, Rascal Flatts, LeAnn Rimes, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
The complete list of ACM nominees is as follows, with the show airing live from Las Vegas on May 18th at 8pm ET/PT on CBS:

Funny, all of the judges and preformers on nashville star (premiering on nbc next monday) have been nominated. EXCEPT for their new host Billy Ray Cyrus. Show should be good, Swift is preforming live and all, but odd choice. maybe their working on crossing miley over into country by getting her to guest star...billy ray certaintly isn’t creating any buzz.
