Cameron Diaz: Puppy Hero
Proving that celebrities don’t just wander around with their heads in the clouds, Cameron Diaz went out of her way to help an injured dog over the weekend.
According to a report, the “Charlie’s Angels” hottie came across a German shepherd near her home on Saturday (August 23) and went out of her way to make sure it was okay and return it to its owner.
Diaz’s rep told press, “Cameron and a friend were involved in returning an injured dog to its owner.” And according to an inside source, the “Sweetest Thing” actress was a real sweetie to the wayward pooch.
“Diaz brought the dog in her house and gave it some food and water. Her assistant posted a ‘found German shepherd’ sign and [the dog’s owner] – Diaz’s neighbor who was driving around the area – came across it.”
Following the rescue, the dog’s owner to it to the vet for medical attention and Cameron “made time to visit the vet where the dog was being treated.”
