well what is done is done. jaime lynn is 16 years old and alot smarter than her sister i do believe so. things happen and her getting pregnant was a blessing from god. abortion is a no no and she is to far along to even think about it. i have 2 daughters 3 and 5 and its just shows we gotta start young before and warn our kids before it gets that far. its good she is keeping it and its hard to find a good man that will stand bye you. just hope she is happy and that her man sticks around and doesnt leave her with a baby alone to raise just like kevin did to britney. he is 19 and she is 16 so what. its not her fault its the parents for not showing more for their kids…

So why isn’t the kid up on charges??

Why would she spread her legs for this guy.  Why couldn’t they live together without having sex?  What was her reason behind having sex with him?

She is 16, he is 19 and that is PERFECTLY LEGAL in California because it takes MORE than 3 years of age difference between the minor and adult for the adult to be doing something illegal.Besides this NOT being illegal, a 3 year age difference is nothing.In fact I think it is perfectly appropriate for a 16 year old to date a 19 year old-it is an issue of maturity; with girls being about 2 years more emotionally mature than guys.Now this is not to say that they did not f*ck up in getting pregnant, but honestly, u guys really need to stop throwing around words, saying he should be in jail and blah blah.He is NOT a sexual offender, nor is he a pedophile.He is a guy who simply, F*CKED UP, just like all other teen fathers.But as Jamie Lynn has already shown responsibility by not getting an abortion, she is taking responsibility for her mistakes, as is Aldridge.With this said, please consider keeping an open mind and don’t say things if you don’t know what you are talking about.

I think that it is great that Jamie Lynn is owning up to the responsibility of becoming pregnant.  She may only be 16, and her boyfriend 18 or 19, but believe it or not, that is normal these days.  Check out your local high schools.  About 1/3 of the girls are pregnant, and another 1/3 are dating men 19 or so.  It’s only a 3 year difference.  How many of you are dating or married to someone more than 3 years older than you?  I’d say many of you are.  And as far as comparing her to her sister, I think you are being unfair.  Just because they are sisters doesn’t mean they are both bad mothers.  She needs to have the chance to show you what type of mother she is going to be before you start criticising her.  Give her a chance.  After all, back in the old days, wasn’t it normal for women to have babies by 13, 14, 15 years of age?  I believe so.

Most reports say that Casey is 18, not 19. And if this is the case, there is only a two year difference between the couple. So, while I agree that the Spears family is really messed up, and that Jamie will probably go down the same road as her sister, there honestly hasn’t been any wrong-doing from a legal standpoint in this situation. Go back to your lives, citizens.

Ok, it may only be 3 year difference between them, but the point is she should be playing, hanging out getting ready for her future not motherhood and no!!!!  I don’t want my children to look up to her.

This is what happens when the Beverly Hillbillies move to Hollywood. I’m sure all the Britney Jamie fans are thrilled of the little one’s arrival and the paparazzi will be right there at the baby shower.  But all you “Moms” on here that are shocked, why don’t you look back in your mirror and remember what you were doing when you were 16.  Some of you probably even earlier than that.  Rack up another teenage pregnancy for the stats.

um… so clearly some of you have no lives… that much is clear.  Anyways.  As a 17 year old i feel that i can relate. One of my very close friends got pregnant.  She never planned that to happen.  It was just an accident. She’s been with the same guy for 2 years, and you know what, they’re happy. Although i can’t say thats the same case for Jamie & Casey, the reason i can’t is that i don’t know them.  And neither do any of you.  She is old enough to take responsibility for her own action and so is he.  He isn’t a sex offender like some of you are so quick to label him with. He didn’t rape her, or force her or threaten her.  They had sex, and they got pregnant.  it happens all the time.  That sort of label follows a person the rest of their lives.

All I can say is my 9 year old isn’t watching anymore Zoe nor will we be buying anymore Britney cd’s.  I’d rather spend my money elsewhere now - I know, that’s my choice and all.  But if we all stopped supporting this family then maybe they would go away and get their lives into some order.  Between the Spears family and the Simpson family I think we can say that exploiting your children and trying to make $$$ from them, is NOT a good idea.

I don’t really think it’s up to anyone here to decide if the guy should go to jail or not. For all you know, she could have pressured him into sex. I’m not saying that teenagers should have sex. In fact, I don’t think they’re ready for that at all. However, we simply do not know all of the facts. Also, you should all know the age of consent in Washington is 14… so it’s possible.

hey i was once 16 and pregnant, and ive now been married to the older man who got me pregnant for over 8 years. he was the best thing that ever happened to me. so i say leave her and him alone so they can be parents. it is posible it will all work out for the good. i cant imagine how horrible my life would have been had someone thrown my boyfriend in jail. I SAY LET HER BABY HAVE A DADDY! (He could be a good guy)

After it’s been that long would it really be fair to charge him for rape? Her family knew and loved him. Why would they go and press charges after they had been together for so long. Georgia male teen 17yrs/ girl 15 yrs.  He gets prosecuted for child molestation & sentenced to 10 yrs in JAIL.  SEX OFFENDER FOR LIFE.  Spent 2yrs in PRISON before his appeal.  UNJUST!  Casey should get no fair treatment if this is what this country prosecutes for!
