yeah. people argue that it’s okay to disrespect her whole religion because everyone’s a hypocrite these days. but you can’t commit to a religion and then defy a big part of it. you just don’t get to do that. yeah, a little lie here and there. everyone’s sinned. but having premarital sex when you’re a christian simply is not something you’re supposed to do. if she honored her religion at all she would have waited. it’s called a purity ring, people.  lying is a little bit less extreme than what jaime lynn spears did, so...please don’t use that argument. given, it’s better than having an abortion, and i respect her for that, but not having an abortion does not excuse the fact that she had premarital sex.

People like mimi are precisely why I can’t find it in myself to respect organized religion. If your God is supposed to be a loving and forgiving God (and trust me, I know enough about Christianity to know this is supposed to be true), then why can’t his people be loving and forgiving as well?

I didn’t know Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant. How did people on the news found out? Well, I don’t know anything about the raping part because I’m only fifteen years of age and learning, and I didn’t realize it was a law. What are the consequences?  Besides, this article doesn’t have enough proof to tell me that she’s pregnant. Will some one tell me what’s going on because I’m kind of lost at the moment.

Well now adays 16 year old and even 13 year olds have been getting pregnant but Jaimie at least has money to support her baby unlike other girls!

Ee aren’t simply BEING hypocritical; we ARE hypocritical by nature).  Everybody (and I include myself in this assertion) is a hypocrite in some way or another. 

If I am correct in the affirmation that Jamie Lynn was a Christian, then she herself was one of those hypocrites, as am I.  It deprives neither her nor me of our relationships with Jesus.  From what she has said to the public, I’m pretty certain that she has already prayed for forgiveness from God.  I’m quite proud of the fact that she chose to carry her baby to full term.  That was a very mature decision on her part.  I hope she learns something from this.
