Britney Spears Vs The Spice Girls

In light of her recent public indiscretions, Britney Spears needs something big, REALLY BIG, to eclipse her personal life enough to allow her professional life to shine again. And the October 18th Fashion Rocks concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall may be just the thing.

If she’s to get the gig, her management will have to put some faith in the Toxic singer, and her new songs. Reportedly her label isn’t jumping at the opportunity yet, due to a lack of confidence in her ability to wow the crowd.

Meanwhile, five other ladies are licking their chops at the prospect of opening the big show. The Spice Girls are poised for a killer comeback, and a debut on their home turf would do the trick quite nicely.

“People around the Spice Girls think it’s the perfect place for their first gig in years. They’re keeping their fingers crossed, but they know there are some big names in the mix,” a source told press.
