Britney Spears Throws Attitude In New Song

It’s no secret that Britney Spears has fallen on some hard times both personally and professionally. And in a new song, she fires back at the critical mass media that has been all up in her business.

“Piece of Me” is one of the tracks on the forthcoming, yet untitled, album from Britney. And the lyrics convey a pointed attack on the prying tendencies of the press.

She sings, “I’m Mrs American Dream, since 17, they want a piece of me. I’m successful, rich and famous, I’m Mrs Oh My God, I’m Britney, Shameless. I’m Mrs Extra, Extra, This Just In, I’m Mrs She’s Too Big, She’s Too Thin.”

Hopefully her new album will be more of a hit than her comeback performance on the MTV Video Music Awards. She’s been #1 on iTunes for a few days now, so don’t be surprised if Brit bounces back.
