Britney Spears Readies to Promote “Circus”

She’s no stranger to the courtroom, and this past Friday, Britney Spears appeared in a Los Angeles court for a two-hour closed session.

The “Gimme More” songstress attended a hearing in her ongoing conservatorship in order to give an update on her upcoming album, as well as share the details of her tour and other promotions.

Though it was initially speculated that she may have gone to challenge her father’s permanent conservatorship of her business and personal affairs, it turns out she did no such thing.

And all things look promising for Spears’ new album Circus which hits stores on her 27th birthday, Tuesday, December 2nd.
