Britney Spears’ Puppy Love

Britney Spears has enlisted the loyalty of a new companion, and he’s hairier than those of the past… it’s a puppy! Brit picked up her new furry friend yesterday, and paraded it around town. Hey, it needs to get used to constant media attention if it’s going to have Brit as it’s master, right?

Maybe the new puppy was to divert her attention to the turmoil that’s reportedly going on between the “Do Something” singer and the Department of Child Services. Apparently they’re investigating a claim that Brit is an unfit mother.

Britney says she was “shocked” that someone would actually call Child Services and report her as being unfit for her kids. All this drama to find out that the complaint-maker was actually a frustrated stalker.

The stalker had become cranky with Brit over the past few weeks, and called Child Services in an attempt to hit the pop singer where it hurts. Unfortunately for him, the claims were so bizarre (even for Britney!) that the agency didn’t take him seriously.
